Large part had collapsed due to erosion in the soil mound

On Friday, many vehicles and vehicles were gutted in Ganeshpuri township behind Laldungari Ganesh temple in Galta Gate area on Delhi Road due to heavy rains. Estimated loss in about 80 to 90 houses

Torrential rains started on Friday morning caused erosion in the soil mound. Due to the strong flow of water, a large part of the soil mound collapsed and flowed into the rough-and-tumble houses of the township. Due to this, about 5 to 6 feet of soil has accumulated in more than 80 to 90 houses.

About 20 to 25 families sat on the rooftops on the teatshed to avoid water filling the houses. About 100 vehicles were also buried due to the collapse of this mound. People's household goods and food items also got frozen in the soil.
