The lung functions of those patients declined by 20% to 30% after recovery. Fortunately, this condition can be improved if the patients do lung capacity enhancement exercises regularly.

The US Biotechnology Information Center has carried out some experiments on it. They concluded that there was up to 17 percent of 99 coronavirus patients suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
