Coronavirus Scare: British Mother Of Three Left To Die From COVID-19 At Home, Because She Was Not 'Priority'

In the UK, a British mother of three died from suspected coronavirus illness, after she tried to call the hospital but was told she was not 'priority'.

The danger and spread of the coronavirus outbreak leads to situations when people who happen to be 'not priority' must die in their own homes because medical services just cannot take care of them quickly enough.

The UK is one of the big hotspots of COVID-19 and people are dying at home

In the UK, a 36-year-old mother of three died in her home from suspected coronavirus infection the day after calling emergency services and being told to just stay home and take care of herself. This is despite her symptoms being high fever, a cough, chest and stomach pains.

The unfortunate woman was Kayla Williams, who died on March 21 after paramedics could arrive at her home in South London. Her husband Fabian tried to call 999, the British emergency services because she had severe illness and not just a normal fever:

“I called 999 because my wife was breathless, she was vomiting and she had pains in her stomach. As I was talking to them she was getting worse and they told me to put her on the floor and to make her body flat”.

The paramedics arrived in the morning to take some tests, but told Fabian "the hospital won’t take her, she is not a priority. She did not stay very long and she went outside to write her report and posted it through the door".

And the next day, Kayla Williams conditions got significantly worse. Her husband tried to feed and run his wife a bath, before taking a brief respite. Afterward, Fabian went into the room to see his wife only to find her already dead.

Even though medical documents of Kayla, according to the Guardian, said that she was having clear symptoms of COVID-19. The only instructions given then were "self-care, use antipyretics, increase food/fluid".
